Justin Leonard and Trevor Immelman Commit To Play In EDS Byron Nelson Championship
Irving, TX – Justin Leonard and Trevor Immelman have officially committed to play in the 2008 EDS Byron Nelson Championship.
Leonard, a local favorite, has captured 11 wins on the PGA TOUR. He has appeared at 14 EDS Byron Nelson Championships, and his best finish was T6 in 2001. Leonard is ranked No. 4 on the PGA TOUR money list, No. 4 in the race for the FedExCup and No. 32 in the World Golf Rankings.
Immelman is ranked No. 23 in the World Golf Rankings. He won the 2006 Cialis Western Open. In 2007, Immelman had four top 10 finishes including third at the Mercedes-Benz Championship and at the World Golf Championships-Accenture Match Play Championship. Immelman has played in two EDS Byron Nelson Championships. The South African received a sponsor exemption to play in 2005 and finished second in 2006.
