No. 16 Ranked Sergio Garcia Commits To Play In EDS Byron Nelson Championship
Irving, TX – Sergio Garcia has officially committed to play in the 2008 EDS Byron Nelson Championship. Garcia is ranked No. 16 in the 2008 World Golf Rankings. He finished in the top 10 on the PGA TOUR money list in 2007.
Coming into the 2008 PGA TOUR season, Garcia finished second in the British Open after losing in a playoff. This year on the PGA TOUR Garcia has two top 20 finishes, both in World Golf events. Garcia has captured six PGA TOUR wins including the 2004 EDS Byron Nelson Championship. This will be Garcia’s tenth straight EDS Byron Nelson Championship appearance.
